Last Friday I drove up to Ottawa in a blizzard and froze
because the driver had on the air conditioning.. CRAZY. I went up there to see
a concert with my best friend. She had
early entry so she was in the venue before I got there, holding spots in front
row. Well, try getting to front row from the back row after arriving late and
the concert had already started. Oh and through a crowd of insane and angry
people.
Conveniently Simple Plan has a song called ‘Jump’. It works
really well when the whole crowd is jumping and we bolt through everybody. So
after two opening bands and the main band playing a few songs, Candace and I
got to Jessica in front row!
It was a whole different show from the very front and there
is a lot more energy. I have been in love with Simple Plan for years and seeing
them live was unbelievable.

where we were standing. All the fans were pushing and screaming and freaking
out, so I just kind of stood there not expecting anything. My hand wasn’t
reaching out at all, but was over the gate… and all of a sudden... HE PUT THE
GUITAR PICK IN MY HAND! RIGHT IN MY HAND! So then I started crying and freaking
out, because he personally put the pick that he played acoustic songs with IN
MY HAND!
So I put the guitar pick into some tissue, and shoved it in
my pocket. I didn’t want to hold it too long because it had his sweat all over
it and then…
Continued next week…
