Pembroke Trip

For Easter weekend I went to Pembroke with Brad. All of his family lives up there and ironically that’s where I’m from as well. I didn’t go and visit any of my family though, his was enough. It’s always nice to get away and go back home. On Thursday night we got there really late so we just sat at the water for an hour and then went to bed. On Friday we got up bright and early because Brad was devoted to bringing his car home. He has an imported sports car that he put away two years ago and a truck that he’s been driving. He decided that it made a lot more sense to fix the car and put away the truck for the summer. Unfortunately the car had a broken alternator and since it’s an import and made ridiculously stupid – the entire drivers side tire and drive axel had to come out, to pull the alternator out from underneath since it’s below the engine and can’t fit through the top. Anyways, we spent all day Friday working on the car. Friday night we went to his mother’s for Easter dinner and then spent the evening in the hot tub! Saturday we headed back to his dads, worked on the car more and had a dinner there. That night we went and saw some of his old friends and just drove around Pembroke! By the time Sunday came we were exhausted, but managed to finish the car and go to the country to go four wheeling! It was an amazing weekend and extremely busy, but very productive! Also, extremely nice to have another break off school!
