Last Week Continued...

So to continue from last week’s blog…

Pierre had handed me the guitar pick and I set it in my pocket. After getting home and freaking out showing my friends and family the pick, I set it in my room. A couple days passed by and I hadn’t seen the pick in awhile. Eventually it dawned on me.. I had cleaned my room. I threw out all the garbage, including the tissue.

What I’m getting at is I threw out the guitar pick, that Pierre handed me himself… all because it was in a tissue. My heart sunk. I have a bin in my room that I toss light garbage in; tissues, cotton swabs, makeup removing wipes.

I was hopeful that by some chance I might have tossed the tissue into that bin. I was basically positive I didn’t because I had cleaned my entire room. I didn’t want to look for it  so I avoided it for days. Finally after about a week of my sadness I decided I’d give it one quick look and just move on. It was a really big deal for me because I haven’t been to many concerts and I certainly haven’t met/touched any famous people.  Especially a band I have been listening to for like 10 years. What would have been no big deal to most people was a huge deal to me. I looked and by the luck of life it was there. I then freaked out, ran around my house, put the pick in a plastic bag… taped it to my wall, and now I admire it daily.

CLASSIFIED IN MY FACE.

It’s a good thing I have to type for blogs and not talk. I can’t even find the words to explain how amazing the concert was last night! When I try to talk about it no words come out, just gibberish. Yesterday evening I went to a concert at the k-rock center with my best friend Jessica. We saw Kay, Karl Wolf, Classified and Hedley. I haven’t been to many concerts but this was my third time seeing Hedley.

I lost it when Classified came on; I’ve been listening to him forever. I couldn’t breathe or function, all I did was stare in awe. Normally I don’t get too excited about things, this was definitely an exception. I still can’t even concept that I was looking and hearing him in person rather than just on the computer.

Like I said, I don’t go to many concerts. This was my 3rd time seeing Hedley and I have all intentions on seeing the band as many times as I can in life. The energy and excitement that Jacob (lead singer of the band) brings to the stage is amazing and so fun. Hedley has never let me down as a fan, all their songs just get better, and all the performances just become more lively and exciting.

Karl Wolf and Kay are two people I don’t exactly listen to. However they both put on a great show! The songs they performed weren’t bad and both of them brought a great energy to the show.

Tonight I’m going to Ottawa, with Jessica. We are going to see These Kids Wear Crowns, All Time Low,  Mariana’s Trench and Simple Plan. Next weeks blog is going to be exciting!
